If they don't give a fuck, then why are they going out of their way to disable their devices? Wouldn't not giving a fuck entail just dropping support?



When you depend on a backend service, dropping support is disabling their devices, the rest is just bookkeeping.


So you're saying they shouldn't drop support? That's absurd, a company has every right to drop active support. If they're not profitable, want to start a new business, or for whatever reason, they're not obligated to work for any reason.

Well, barring any service level agreements they might have made when advertising or selling the products.

But I'm not saying whether they should or shouldn't drop support, I'm saying that doing so indicates they don't care about the users of their product.
