L.is seeking a Director of Marketing that will lead and execute all areas of online and offline marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition and increase customer lifetime value. You must be a highly creative innovator and analytical thinker. Specifically, you will be responsible for driving the creative, media buying and management of the day-to-day operations of social, display, retargeting, influencer, bloggers, affiliate, and email marketing channels.
What You Do:
• Direct, manage and deliver creative solutions through media campaigns across key channels, including: Facebook Ads, programmatic platforms, video and mobile advertising.
• Accountable for day-to-day management and optimization of digital advertising campaigns including planning, bid management, ad copy, implementation, monitoring, landing pages testing, and ongoing optimization.
• Promote continual creative improvement and lead programs to expected ROI with an understanding of cost of acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
• Analyze campaign results and structuring tests to improve performance and conversions.
• Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports and statistics to monitor and adjust key marketing programs in order to maximize growth.
What you need:
• 3-5+ years hands-on online marketing and media experience to drive customer acquisitions
• Extensive experience buying media via Google, Facebook, etc. required
• Experience with online analytics via Google Analytics, Optimizely, Omniture, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing concepts (cohorts, LTV, attribution) and consumer behavior
• Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently
• Ability to thrive in a small team, wear multiple hats and get things done
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills required, including high proficiency in Excel (SQL a plus)
• Experienced Team Leader
• Demonstrated track record of managing a sizable budget, driving financial performance, and attaining measurable results
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), both in articulating his/her ideas and gathering input from key stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
