I recently saw a JS framework usage chart. It was a good reality check.
With all the hype and posts about excited devs looking like the next framework with a beautiful minimalist website and a clean, new "Hello, world!" example as it would be crack, it's easy to get the impression that say Vue.js or Riot is climbing the ladder rapidly along with React, but the bulk of them are almost not even USED. Many recently hyped frameworks saw < 1% usage so they were excluded from the list! If a newcomer is looking for Javascript work today, seems like the safe choices are things like Bootstrap and jQuery... :P Go with something like Dojo or Backbone if you're feeling adventurous!
