These guys, by the way, have done an amazing job of promoting themselves with their blog. They should be a model for everyone.


I usually don't enjoy this type of bird's-eye view article, but that was a really cool, useful collection of links.


I don't either. It seems there is a strange rift between academic AI research and game AI research.

whenever I read this kind of stuff I just think "cart before horse". the games I enjoy the most are quite primitive. all the enemy AI in crytek didn't amount to a fun game.
