That's cool, but to record a quality podcast takes time (like 7 hours of preparation to record 40 minutes of content) AND expensive hardware, especially microphone.
There's a huge spectrum between 7 hours of prep and "i have a cool thing to talk about with you that i just realized would be an interesting podcast". Current podcasts are optimized for the former. We're expecting to give people more access.
