Ask HN: Policy as regards query strings
3 points by Schiphol on Nov 5, 2015 | hide | past | favorite
Right now the same The Atlantic story is twice in the New queue. One points to http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2015/11/programmers-should-not-call-themselves-engineers/414271?single_page=true. The other one to http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2015/11/programmers-should-not-call-themselves-engineers/414271/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+AtlanticScienceAndTechnology+%28The+Atlantic+-+Technology%29&single_page=true

It is probably hard to clean submission urls automatically; I'd like to suggest that spurious query strings be manually removed before submission.
