I wonder if the box on the right should read "You need automated regression tests"

It should read "split up your monolith".

Just because one extreme isn't working for you doesn't automatically mean the other extreme is the right solution.

If you have such a mess that you can't change anything, regression tests help, but they're still a band-aid. It would be better to separate things out, but yeah, the answer should really say "oh my god yes we've bought all the hardware we can and it's still slow!".
