I wanted to see what's really going on, but the bloomberg article on the twit link seems taken down right now.

I have mild afterimage illusion when viewing text or high contrast images. Interestingly, the symptom is worse when background is dark than the other way around. So dark mode themes are mostly no go for me mostly unless some transparency is enabled. Of course, I can not use this github dark mode sadly at this state.

Frequently used feature as a open source contributer on github. - git fork, clone, pull request. - searching/filing the Issues.

Does this new redesign proposal enhanced the usability of these features? Not at all.

Just my opinion.

How this kind of business tactic is not illegal? I think this is a clearly violation of user's right to repair.

Freedom.

I mean. I'm not saying you're wrong here. What's freer than an anarchic society after all? Of course, we can justify rules on the grounds of freedom. A king certainly is free, his subjects are not.

So what's freer? A company that controls all aspects of their customers use of their products? Or a company that is restricted from such practices?

I can't tell if your post is sarcastic, glib, factual... So I think you were too terse here. Your meaning is not obvious.

Nah.. Just another closed source browser for `vendor lock-in`. no thanks.
