Or to put it another way, the prices will only come down the other side of an intense catastrophe.

AI growth is locked in now, only if it were to stop will demand be abated.

In Germany I understand the non-native trees in the warmer climate are succumbing to beetles, and dying out.

I understand that they're being replanted by more native species.

Yes true, especially the Harz mountains currently look like a post-apocalyptic wasteland (also visible on Google Maps), it will take decades to regrow with more diverse and climate resistant tree types, but worth it (compared to reforesting with another layer of fast growing trees of the same type).

After the Oxford St, Kings Cross Tube station fires, along with the Bradford stadium fire in the 80s they thought that safety could be improved a tad.

Personally, I like my air fresh.

Cat food in the teapot!

Sounds interesting, but behind a paywall.

If AI companies are constrained don’t they just go in and add capacity?

They’re building their own grid systems, I would have thought they can see the bottle necks and plan accordingly.

Add to that they can use AI tools to speed things up, that’s the feedback system, sarcasm/hope.
