Yes true, especially the Harz mountains currently look like a post-apocalyptic wasteland (also visible on Google Maps), it will take decades to regrow with more diverse and climate resistant tree types, but worth it (compared to reforesting with another layer of fast growing trees of the same type).

Max per drive is 25 W, so even a rack with 20 servers of 40 drives each is probably less than the average GPU rack even after the other overheads.

Sometimes it was thick with smoke and the walls would have tar.

If AI companies are constrained don’t they just go in and add capacity?

They’re building their own grid systems, I would have thought they can see the bottle necks and plan accordingly.

Add to that they can use AI tools to speed things up, that’s the feedback system, sarcasm/hope.
