Hi HN,

Like many of you, I was frustrated when Skype was retired last year and replaced by the Teams "unified" experience. I don't want a collaboration suite just to call my grandmother in Italy or to phone a bank; I just want a dial pad that works.

I was surprised to see that users have already logged over 80 hours of calls in less than a month.

I built CallTuv (calltuv.com) to be the "old Skype" in a browser tab with some cool features. Built with Next.js, Tailwind, Shadcn, React, Node.js.

Great name -- good luck and...all the best.

thanks mate!

Love the design and domain :) good luck!

Thanks mate

Thanks for the feedback! I see your point, and ideally, Bluesky might implement something like this natively in the future. However, toBsky.com exists to fill that gap in the meantime and offer users an easy, free way to enhance their profiles with analytics and a memorable link. It's all about giving the community tools to make the most of their Bluesky experience!

What do you mean by that?

Do you ask publishers to put javascript on their site?

Yes, is there any other way?

Yes. Textlinks. Or image links where the images are hosted on the publishers website.

Sending 3rd-party content to my visitors is not non-intrusive. Especially if it is active content like javascript.

We're working on improving it as we speak. For now we do not track users.

Our targeting is pretty basic: device (desktop, mobile), website categories and location.

We've been working on ChurnKit for the last few months as an internal tool, to find out who has removed our javascript code from their website - to collect their feedback.

We invest in acquiring new users, we try to make them signup and try our product by adding a small JS code to their website. But then, 10 days later we found out our code is no longer installed on their website.

Such a waste!

With this, we managed to recover several uninstalls + collect valuable feedback since we started using it internally.

If your product or service involves adding a small snippet to a website to make it work, I'd love to get your feedback on this.
