This is the only reason I stick to Terminator, but none of the othet terminal emulators are coming close. I wouldn‘t even be searching for an alternative if Terminator wouldn‘t crash every other week.

I've not had any real crashes; but I have to swap between linux and windows, so anything that bridges that gap would get my vote.

It's ridiculous that going to a Target/Bestbuy/etc you cannot find any non-smart TVs generally. I have had several older models of non-smart tvs that suddenly stop working after a few years. It's disgusting

It's either because the non-ad-driven tvs cost more, resulting in too few sales to sustain (because no lifetime revenue from data sales) or the lifetime revenue from data sales is so profitable that companies take the risk on being undercut by a market entrant that will sell dumb tvs.

My guess is that the vast majority of people will trade data for a cheaper price point every time (my wife is certainly one of these people), so the market just can't support the volume of sales necessary to make the price point of dumb tvs competitive.

A smart TV just means one that can show you advertising and hoover up personal data. This is additional revenue. What company would sell you anything else?

Tim Berners-Lee invented the world wide web in 1992. Doubleclick started in 1995. So yes, like those glorious 3 years when hardly anyone was online and most access was via a 28kbps modem.

Not here in Germany - our T-Mobile Business access only gets a static IPv6 and our main fiber uplink from Telekom (same provider) gets both.

My person experience: if I can find a solution on stackoverflow etc. the LLM will produce working and fundamentally correct code. If I can‘t find a already fullfilled solution on these sites, the LLM is hallucinating like crazy (newer existing functions/modules/plugins, protocol features which aren’t specified and even github-repos which never existed). So, as stated my many people online before: for low-hanging fruits LLM are totally viable solution.

I don't remember the last time Claude Code hallucinated some library, as it will check the packages, verify with the linter, run a test import and so on.

Are you talking about punching something into some LLM web chat that's disconnected from your actual codebase and has tooling like web search disabled? If so, that's not really the state of the art of AI assisted coding, just so you know.
