Azure was affected by this already - small compute quota increases tickets I had opened last year took months to resolve, and they also took away ability to provision postgres in eastus entirely (we are under quota limit).

I'll echo what the others say - if you think the path is clear (but you should think twice about that, of course), then don't be intimidated. A long time ago I participated in a negotiation/scoping on a big project, and while most of the people on the other side were a VP of some sort, in the end all but one turned out to be basically senior devs and their managers.

If you are talking about hiring software developers, it is easy enough. B2B contract, the person you wish to hire has to fill out and give you W8-BEN-E which you will give to your accountant to forward to IRS. Payments are easily facilitated via a company specialising in this, e.g. Deel or Veem. Contractors figure out and pay their taxes themselves. I myself am currently employed in such manner.

IMO email+password and/or Google sign-in are much better options.

This has already started to some degree, starting from today, all russian citizens are banned from sending money over to their overseas accounts, all tax resident companies (and if you are a russian citizen, the only legal way to work for a foreign emplyer from russia is via creating a legal entity which is akin to a 1-man company) must sell 80% of received foreign currencies (this applies to money that was received starting from Jan 1st).

This would be because Russia no longer has that foreign currency, since it was frozen. If 60% of a totalitarian dictatorship's foreign currency is frozen, the dictator is going to make sure that all the foreign currency which the dictatorship does have access to belongs to him.

I've seen a migration of massive workflows from Zeebe to Conductor, it was impressive.

How do you know that? I didn't know Zeebe e was used a lot. What happened?

Backend x Data Engineer crossover. Looking for an international, fully remote team. I am generally open to backend (I wouldn't mind going full-stack, but I have limited knowledge of frontend at the moment), data engineering roles, and I don't mind learning new tech - as long as I get to use it in production :)
