mostly looking at 3 forensic layers:

   1) metadata forensics: spotting when an ATS auto-refreshes a 6-month-old job to look "fresh" today (we track the original timestamp vs the repost).

   2) external correlation: cross-referencing against layoff/WARN data to see if the budget actually exists for that specific department.

   3) hiring velocity: flagging patterns where a company keeps "urgent" roles posted but has zero headcount growth in that team over the last quarter.
