Close it. Sell off all the assets and give the proceeds as compensation to those whose data was exposed. Why do we have a human death penalty but not a corporate one?

Growth and productivity due to technology innovation does not stagnate. Rather the output becomes more complex, of higher quantity and of higher quality.

Any business / company / marketplace participant stagnating by these outputs will be replaced by the competition.

Market forces require constant growth and output. Again, the magic word is “competition”. Stagnation loses, and thus does not survive.
