>They’re quick to design and implement solutions to challenging problems, and once implemented, their systems tend to work as intended or even better than expected. They are adept at using technical tools to diagnose problems and fix them rapidly.

This is undoubtedly real but still reads like an LLM summarization

Trains, schedules, speed is excellent.

But they lost all restrooms but one, and guess how often that one stays open?

Big downgrade for folks with issues.

>work exceptionally hard to even be on par with others, it's only my innate interest in these subjects and refusal to give up

I mean, you're obviously not mediocre at least at tenacity and perhaps discipline? Lots of people don't have that, think about it.

Then, how are you comparing yourself to others (leading question yes). You're employed as SWE, how hard did you fail fizzbuzz?

Indeed, tenacity and discipline is a very good skill. It's what I personally lack and has been weighing down on my career, and damn it, on my life. Should op detach his self worth from his skills in programming/math etc, he'll feel very good. It's another can of worms though

Read “ Designing Data-Intensive Applications”

Try to implement ideas and concepts from the book. Play various orchestration tools.

Even so you still need police to care for this to be if any use

I am not upset by a bike behavior because I know exactly what my wheels are doing just by holding the bars. Same in a mechanical steering rack. This here seems more like a guessing game

Great answer! What kind of activities keep you alive?

You may want to read a book akin to “extreme ownership” (though I would recommend exactly that one) and help your tech lead solve these problems. If you want to stick to this job. You don’t have to have the title to work the solutions.

Curious about MTB trails and fiber. Where is this?

Same thing they always do: issue a declaration of deep concern!
