Nickel and dimed to death.

The person that first came into my classroom to offer to help me set up a 403B ends up being one of the most expensive 403Bs options I have per the website https://www.403bcompare.com/

And then on top of it all my school district employer even charges me a monthly fee of $3 just to send money to my 403B.

Edit: It's actually the 403B admin that is charging me the $3 a month.

The eye focus on the a7iii is amazing. There is no way I would capture in focus images of children without it. It's so fast and so accurate.

Some teachers give out bathroom passes that if you do not use them for the semester they can be turned in for extra credit. Extra credit for holding your bladder. Educational value: zero

Welcome to the USA: At 18 we're asking to use the restroom while also being asked to make massive financial decisions about continuing education !!

As long as they do not add a bunch of math requirements to the CS classes, it will get butts in the seats.

Computer science at a k-12 level should be fun and interesting. Problems like making animations/video games are just so much more fun/relevant to solve than the straight up numerical answers(Or string manipulation).

Plus, these problems lead to conversations about math anyway. Students go from why do we want to learn math to I want to learn the math to make this part of my game work.

When we need to learn something to solve a problem we want to solve, there is a reason to learn it. This is the essential part of school that is mostly left out.

The gender balance displayed in the video is admirable, but it is always interesting to see how "white" films were from this era.

As a person who works in education, I feel like many decisions are made this way. It's rarely about what is best for the kids.
