Rookie numbers, I say $100T. Go big or go home.

So one could stub out https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Page_Visibi... or fake it via an extension (there are actually some already that disable the API by injecting JS that always returns "visible", f.e. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/disable-page-visibi...). Don't know if there are more.

Same but Firefox. The stream quality is downgraded to ~360p while an ad plays though. But I rarely watch Twitch so eh, good enough for me. And it gets rid of all the cancerous ADHD-ridden stuff.

>and it was nearly always dudes

Yeah I know what you are, don't try to pretend.

And wtf does it even matter? Such a weird comment to even make.

Dude complaining about dudes. It’s nearly always like that.

Well StreetView was released in 2010 in Germany and not updated until 2023 (!). And the article doesn't take pixelated houses into account. Nowadays the material is finally up2date again and fewer houses pixelated (I think you had to request it again but nobody cared enough because there was no outrage like back then). The backlash in 2010 was overblown even back then.

The generational memory of the 1930's was still pretty accessible fifteen years ago. Less so now that the children of the late 1940's and early 1950's have mostly moved into an altersheim or are close to it.

There is being critical of something and then there is being a conspiracy theorist. Code Execution is a well-known feature of Gemini, ChatGPT, etc. and it's always shown in special blocks and it runs inside a sandbox.

More code = more vulnerabilites. It's a simple fact. Complexity kills.

Sell your computer. Now you have perfect security!

Fun fact: you can uninstall Notepad if you don’t like it.

Congrats for completely missing the point.

I find the bigger problem with online comments are that people repeat the same comments and "jokes" over and over and over again. Sure we had those with YouTube 15 years ago when people always spammed "first!" and "who is listening in <year>?" but now it's gotten worse and every single comment is now just some meme (especially on Reddit) or some kind of "gotcha"...

And bots reposting a trending post from like 12 years ago to farm internet points... with other bots reposting the top comments of the initial post

Don't forget that Codex is free until March so the numbers are heavily inflated.

No you can still install APKs offline but they have to be signed (likely enforced by Google Play Services). Not to mention you can still install unisgned APKs like before with adb. Which doesn't make this any better of course.
