Somebody could compile the (probably extremely short, if not nil) list of pronounceable sequences of phonemes, that are not vulgar, sexist, demeaning, insulting, "hurtful", or otherwise objectionable in any language.

If someone did that and then domain-squat all of them, then the rest of us would be forced to choose hilarious names for our software.

Checking urban dictionary is a good start.

In this case, it’s not a great source. There are two, low-ranking Dutch definitions but they’re very direct or vulgar.

In any language? I suspect that approaches the null set.

...And then copyright them all. Muhahaha.

I was contemplating adding "to at least one person" at the end of that sentence, but then it definitely would be the null set.

I have a Celeron N3350/Pentium N4200/Atom E3900 based system, that exposes an xDCI switch in the bios, and upon enabling it, I do get some other options, and upon bootup into linux a PCI device "USB controller: Intel Corporation Device 5aaa (rev 0b)"

But the UDC device node is not showing up. So it seems I have to dig a bit further using inspiration from the OP

If you check out the forum.openwrt.org, you'll see, that broadcom support is mostly limited to Raspberry PI devices, and some 400Mhz museum pieces.

9/10 times the turned-down requests for OpenWrt support of Device XY are because of Broadcom SOCs/Wireless_chips in the device.

So, does that mean, that I may be able to "root" (my own) mainboards using (only) a maliciously configured DHCP server, and then when booting the target machine trigger a PXE boot?

That would be cool for many different reason! And pretty fugly for some others...

"implement just enough UEFI to boot stuff, not the whole kitchen sink" I believe is the target of the uboot project

> silly dance, manually downloading drivers and either modifying the installation media or using multiple usb sticks

Or just use USB tethering with your smartphone as the initial network connection

As far as I'm aware, the largest users/vendor of BSD(-based) software are Apple, Sony/PlayStation, Cisco, and both Amazon and Netflix are reported to use BSD in their CDN infrastructure.

So they have a vested interest in the BSD-Ecosystem to stay alive and well, so as to continue to assure the existence of developers and beta-testers for the BSD system/userland they base their commercial offerings on. Personal choice, if you see that as a Pro or Con.

For this scenario I'd like to buy a device powered by POE, with USB-Eth, some free USB-Ports with PPPC, and some contraption, that goes through a hole in the back of the phone to the battery connector inside.

I had assembled something like that for my old SGS2 alarm clock out of a POE-5V splitter, an USB otg adapter, an Uhubctl-compatible USB-HUB powered by the POE-Splitter, and assorted cabling including a lead to the internal battery terminal with the top bar of an old battery (It contains some electronics). UGLY. Does anybody know a pre-made device like that?

Thanks, the HomeAssistant integration of frigate.video looks nice!

Do you happen to know a way to use the audio-backchannels of the to broadcast audio out of the cameras? And/or use them as "speakerphone" with SIP/xy? Somehow integrate them with pipewire?

North Korea is coloured in as '100%' Iphone Usage, It looks like on that map.
