As long as they provide the same utility / $ I don’t see why not. It’s not like the open weight models are that far behind and Claude code itself shouldn’t be very hard for the commmunity to replicate if Anthropic start acting up too much.

Unless I’m completely missing something, those hooks still have the same names and semantics as always?

Yeah you’re actually right I was looking at the API section instead of the Hooks section. Perhaps another demonstration of React’s verbose API surface.

Not to mention those absolutely horrible scroll animations.

you don't like parallax effects ? maybe I'm too 2010 for you

I’ve never seen a scroll related animation that I didn’t hate to some degree. I suspect that the issue is that I skim and scroll REALLY fast and the animations always break the feeling of the page being a real surface.

Apple is the worst offender. Some of their product pages make me physically uncomfortable like when you miscount the number of steps in a stair and step into empty air.

And it’s not that I’m sensitive to animations or motion in general. Video games are no problem at all even when the physics make no sense.

There’s something special about how good scrolling is on Apple’s trackpads and mobile screens which causes a really deep immersion for me. I have an Ubuntu desktop with an old school scroll wheel mouse and there the animations are just annoying but not uncomfortable.

I think the issue is that the parallax is choppy in your page. For whatever it's worth, I typically don't care much about parallax in itself but I thought the same thing about the scrolling not being smooth.

Reminds me of the time I asked Claude to write some Wordpress code for me. The results were…rough.

Even when using mjml you must do render tests of your templates using litmus or a similar service. Mjml is WAY better than hand rolling templates but there are foot guns to be found and the docs won’t mention most of them https://github.com/mjmlio/mjml/issues/2927#issuecomment-2539....

Totally agree on edge case quirks of MJML - or more like weird behaviors in Outlook. With so many email services and clients around, nothing can provide 100% bulletproof solution but I think MJML is as close as it gets to works-for-majority. I‘m sure MJML maintainers also aim for this.

Also, yes! Microsoft should kill Outlook with fire! :)

AFAIK that’s how incorporated companies work in Europe.

Here in Sweden we have A LOT of companies own and operated by state and local government and they’re all “aktiebolag” which literally translates to “stock companies”. For smaller businesses you can register as a sole proprietor and some other odd structures if you are a group of people. You’ll often see the same thing for non-profits as well.

There’s a reason for why you are comparing still shots to the actual video of Musk saluting the crowd nazi style.

The very first clip is video of Cory Booker.

What makes you say that? Unless I am mistaken, it’s only the Pro models who run at 2x by default.

Dry aged cheeses are safe to eat unpasteurized. Raw milk and relatively fresh cheddar are a lot riskier.

True, there are some soft cheeses (Brie I think and various French cheeses) that are traditionally unpasteurised. I think pregnant women are normally told not to eat Brie in the UK for this reason.

Even traditional Cheddar is normally pasteurised in the UK

Agree 100%!

I’m a fast scroller and skimmer. Info scroll down and the text is not there I’ll just assume that the site is shot and close it. Ain’t nobody got 200ms to wait for a god damn fade in when there’s an infinite amount of sites out there to discover.
