instagram and threads are both social apps owned by a large social app giant and they launched right when people were getting pissed off at Elon’s twitter
calling their DAU numbers anything but a perfect storm doesn’t make sense—your app wouldn’t push messaging to every google user to join, and you don’t own Google OAuth and users, Google does.
noted! will whip up a desktop view soon. we love our PCs too, but we're less experienced at front-end development which is why we did mobile first and classified the product as "pre-alpha"! Appreciate the feedback though.
we definitely are new to dapp development, and are learning as we go so we really appreciate the specific feedback! we completely agree with your points on the friction in signup, and will change the design of the site to reflect that. Also thanks for the centering tip we didn't think of that! :))
hey, Shiv here, the other dev for the project! just pushed an update to expand the mobile viewport to support devices up to 800px wide, but we haven't actually done any styling for that size yet, so there may be some kinks. We'll work on getting an update with a true tablet view out soon!
