any reason why you prefer it over Ryujin? I'm on the opposite side; I remember the setup with Ryujin is much faster if you have a fairly recent rig.


It just performs better.

Also Yuzu has asynchronous gpu shader building which means you don't need to find and download a pre-built shader cache for a game for it to run smooth. Yuzu can build itself a shader cache while playing and it doesn't cause the game to stutter and hitch like crazy.

Yuzu just seems to me to be the technically superior option at this time.


I simply tend to have better performance with Yuzu. I'm running an older rig with a Ryzen 7 1800X and a GTX 1070.


I get much better framerate on Yuzu, it's almost locked at 60fps - on Ryujin I only get 20-30fps with some lag here and there.


True. Performance is not issue if no one is playing it.
