I find small food particles left on the top rack if I don't rinse. These are easy to remove (not baked on), but are super annoying and I can't understand why except that when rinsing it's reusing dirty water and not finishing with a clean rinse.
My dishwasher sends the water into the waste disposal built into the sink. If the waste disposal has a lot of food that hasn't been grinded it up, it seems to slow the draining of the dishwasher so not all the food gets drained before the rinse cycle. So I learned to run the waste disposal for a couple seconds before starting a dishwashing load.
Over the long-term, yes. But the very recent, very acute 1.5 degree warming is unexpected against pure CO2-based models. I've read a bunch of theories (reduction in certain type of emissions from ships being a prevalent one), but nothing conclusive
The 1/20 update works well because it gives the illusion of tiles popping into view naturally as the lamp moves. This is a cool effect to get away with.
I grew up with this book in elementary school. I remember learning how complicated 3d graphics were at the time and eventually helped me with graphics in university.
Does it damage the bulb? I thought it just pulsed at a visible rate because it can't turn on consistently. Does rapidly turning off/on diodes reduce the life of a bulb?
We’ll do our best not to show you ads about the topics you limit. In some cases, you might still see an ad containing images related to the topic you’ve limited. For example, you might see an airline ad featuring someone holding a glass of champagne. This isn’t an alcohol ad, even though the ad shows alcohol.
In other cases, you might still see an ad about a topic you’ve limited if you search for info about one of those topics or you watch a video related to those topics.
So I can make suggestions to Google for ads but not truly disable topics.
I mean, the point is about profiling you for ads. If you search "buy a car" and get car ads that isn't really about the personal profile Google built up about you over time.
I still miss i.reddit. I've been trying hard to get off of reddit entirely but it hard because the community and information subreddits provide is still very good. But the other day I noticed the reddit frontpage is just repeating posts if you continue to click next page...
I think the biggest hurdle for VR is being able to use the device for long periods of time. We can view our phones for essentially a full day with some inconvenience, but I can barely stand VR for more than a couple hours without needing to rest my eyes.
Makes a big difference what you're doing. I'm extremely prone to motion sickness but can do vrchat for basically unlimited amounts of time. I think that's because your avatar is mostly synced with your body. That said I can hardly play anything that involves moving your avatar independently of your body, e.g, most games
Wow I would hope some of these artists were benefited/compensated financially by Liechtenstein. This is sad if all this time they received no recognition.
