there is no marketing etc in this book. it is by far the best book on the topic. it covers only bitcoin, i.e. no etherium/smartcontracts etc, but it does that really well. and in fact all the other blockchains are more or less the same

Negative points: a) Not Open Source.

Still, tried signing up on the free account to see if it's any good, as there's some old PostgreSQL training things in Flash that would be useful updated...

b) Account sign-up doesn't work. Typing in email address, then clicking the "CREATE" button... goes forever. The little circle thing just spins and spins. Waited several minutes, then gave up.

Oh well. :(

main reason is very hard to do something manually and at the same time virtually no authoring tools

everything else is just a consequence of those
