Who is the target audience for this?

As someone who has a CS background but would like to learn more about finance but not get too deep into the weeds of math & statistics, would this be a good resource? Or is this more for people who want to break into quant and practice/learn concepts for interviews?

Judging by the content this is probably for people interested in moving into investment banking.

Doesn’t look like stats or advanced math is a major prerequisite.

Yep, no stats or advanced math is needed. My primary focus is to cater to beginner and intermediate users.

For beginners, it is a good tool to understand the basic finance and accounting concepts. It is interactive, you can practice the formulas via quizzes, much more fun than reading a textbook. I suggest you try financial statement module.

For intermediate users, you can practice financial modeling by solving generic modeling problems (3-statements, DCF, LBO, M&A). It will help you build the muscle memory of using the functions/formulas.

For advanced users, I am planning to onboard more industry specific modeling content and practice cases.

how do y'all live

Y'all is a great translation for kimi-tachi.

How do I sign in with google to use it?

After installing the extension, go to youtube. There is a "Sign in with Google" button where "related videos" are usually located. If something went wrong, please send a screenshot to me at support@eightify.app

I see it now, had to turn off adblock

The author stated that he doesn't do sponsorships or anything. From what I've read here, are sponsorships that lucrative?

LTT is way more diversified than other channels, but Youtube’s ads bring in less than in video sponsors for instance.

They can be, and they're certainly more reliable than the variance of views, ad rev, and hoping your video doesn't get demonetized in some way.

Are sponsorships the parts of the video where the creator will shoutout a certain product/brand? Do they really pay that much?

this is really cool do you have any videos documenting how you went about building this?

Thanks! Yes I streamed a great many nights of my work on this site and have recently been doing some posts going over it's features.

Physical is probably not that good for learning a framework

I work all day at a computer. I enjoy spending time away from the screen — I find it easier to absorb new information and harder to be distracted.

So you're reading about the framework without writing any code? I would follow along, write and test code samples, run small experiments with new features you come across etc. Leave the reading-time-away-from-screen for fiction and for nontechnical nonfiction.

I don't have specific evidence but just from general use of the internet, it seems that Rust/Go are pretty hyped

For most people, yes

Not really, digital media is just more convenient to use and doesn't take up space. The only time I miss it is if I want to collect something like a Bluray DVD but I can still go out and buy those.
