I did. Both X and LinkedIn, everyone is super interested, and then they confess they're actually not using OC :/

that's definitely a good invest. Congrats!

Stripe checkout is as easy to integrate & also well designed. Why bother to have yet another middleman in the game.

> Stripe checkout is as easy to integrate

Stripe Checkout requires that you know how to write and integrate code. Plasso does not. Of the 2.4 billion people with internet-connected computers, only 1-2 million can write code.

Stripe in general is not a great user experience for non-developers.

Clicking "Learn More" links, in many places, literally takes you to api documentation.

Seriously? It's as easy as integrating a tweet or like button into a blog post. Just copy & paste.

It's not copy and paste. Stripe Checkout does not even take a payment. All it does is present the UI to collect information, then returns a token to your page via a hidden form field. You must then write code to accept the form submission, use Stripe's API to make a charge against the token you received, send receipts and deliver the product.

Here's the Stripe Checkout integration guide for Rails for example: https://stripe.com/docs/checkout/guides/rails

Stripe inexplicably does not offer payment pages.

Not so inexplicable. They don't want to deal with end-user support. Same reason WePay canned all their end-user features.

try appfigures or similar tools

nice!

sold!

splendid campaign. hope you'll succeed!

To be very honest, this reads like the typical Shoemoney "how to earn $100k within x weeks" article. It's not a big secret that SEO and conversion optimisation can generate a lot of value, and I guess you consult a lot about these topics?

I was thinking the same thing, even down to the sign-up form for the newsletter. Not that there's anything wrong with that, shoemoney has done quite well and his posts are usually quite good.

I'm not a big fan of the Samwers, and try to avoid using any of their services. And this time I might end up using their service. I simply have no option. This is not only proof of their lightening fast execution, but also how all others fail.

German/European startups: fail. None of them were interested to get into this space. They all want to become the next payment / mobile solution and all had no interest about serving the biggest platform- web.

Stripe: fail. I know how startups work. I know that expanding is not easy. But they have raised $20 Million. You could pay a local team of 10 a year, and would have not even spent 5% of your funding. There is just no excuse. German developers wanted stripe BADLY.

German / European banks: total fail. They completely lack of any vision, and are busy enough staying alive.

In that case it would be a great pun, wouldn't it?
