I heart WSL. Years ago I was going to switch to MAC OS to have a more unix like experience/workflow. Then WSL came out and I stayed because Linux is the environment I spend most of my time in.
A lot of services don't accept the '+' sign in an email address, even though it's perfectly valid according to RFCs. Part of this is ignorance of standards but I suspect part of it is deliberate. (To get the users' "real" addresses.)
The worst examples are services that accept + when creating an account but does not accept + for logins. Believe it or not this has happened to me several times, and with large companies too. When companies started blocking + address specifically and/or being clever with removing the + part, I decided it was not worth using + addresses anymore.
Try the 4-7-8 Breathing technique while you are traveling to and right before you take the reading. Also just focus on something else like counting things on the wall while they take it. Mine has been high when I take it at the Dr office. But at home fine. I think tried the 4-7-8 Breathing technique this last time and it read normal at the dr office.
I get anxious when taking blood pressure as well. There are techniques your wife can try before entering the cryo-chamber look up the 478 breathing technique. I developed a white coat blood pressure readings over the last several years measuring a stage one or stage two hypertension at my last doctor visit. I use the 478 breathing technique and my blood pressure readings are normal at my last dr visit.
I have omron it has been at least 10 points lower then my other ihealth cuff. I even sent it in, they said was fine. Had the dr check it as well. It was always 10 points lower. I read that omron measures differently than the typical bpm.
To my knowledge Omron is considered one of the gold standards for home BP monitoring. Most of their cuffs measure the same old way, the BP7000 is one of the few models that do an upswing measurement. I've had both, along with periodic measurements at the doctor (I also do not get white coat hypertension). The Omrons have been in agreement with all my "official" measurements.
Its a mobile CPU chip, and its Apple. This isn't going to move any markets, its insignificant. Maybe its politically useful for Apple and the US government for PR purposes, but there is no rush for CPU chips, or Apple hardware.
