I can get it to work by using a district name e.g "Wan Chai, China". There should probably be some special handling for Hong Kong and Macau since although they are in China, they have their own ISO country codes, flags and are divided differently.

Hey! I think I saw your profile on the meet.hn for a while, but as of now, it seems that even your profile has disappeared. I tried submitting again with your advice, and the submit seemed to not give any errors yet I don't see myself on the map either.

In every company I have worked at, Staff is ranked higher than Senior. Junior roles are usually titled "Associate Engineer" to avoid the term "Junior"

I find seniors more stable and juniors more jumpy to be honest.

Doesn't meetup.com somewhat fulfil this, although it's most useful to people living in big cities

Meetup.com in large cities has become a money-grab, spawning a bunch of semi-professional “event planners” who charge much more than the cost of putting on the event. Feeling like you’re paying for the privilege of talking to other people is demoralizing. People want a place to meet other people that doesn’t feel like they’re paying to be “set up”.

Language courses generally have a clear end date so it's not surprising that many people wouldn't be super invested in making or maintaining new relationships in them.

Their focus is on UX more than security. The app is super snappy and supports group chats with hundreds of thousands of participants.

It's not necessarily air-gapped. There are many ways to accidentally or deliberately patch the intranet and internet together.

Salaries in India shot up during COVID. It was a massive pain since the already revolving door service companies started revolving even faster as they struggled to retain talent. I'm not sure what the market is like now though since we too use Vietnam based developers.

It is really annoying when workers get paid slightly more fairly for their output

Nobody said whether that was a problem or not but obviously if you use a vendor and they provide an unstable team, the team is less valuable.

You can either enhance the athlete or the equipment, it just so happens that cycling involves more complex equipment attached to the athlete than most sports. I imagine this is even more of a concern in the Paralympics where various prosthetics, mobility equipment and other assistive technologies could give certain athletes unfair advantages.
