Should be required listening in business schools and for anyone thinking of starting a company. Its amazing to hear about all these behomoth companies, how they were once startups themselves, how they often lost there way after success, how they changed and morphed through history!
Each time I listen to an episode about a company I think I won't be interested in I'm blown away.
The best CRT I ever had and kept well into the flat screen era was the Sony GDM-FW900. Released in 2002, 24" widescreen with a resolution of 2304x1440.
Got it for free at first, soon after paid for it. Love how customisable OsmAnd is, most maping programs are very much tailored to drivers, which is not my use case.
And yet without those high prices drug discovery and testing would progress at a far slower pace. The US does subsidize the bringing of new drugs to the market for the rest of the world, but as the richest nation that seems somewhat unsurprising.
I my mind the development of new drugs is one of the better uses for a nations capitol.
You're absolutely right; but I'd argue that that doesn't excuse the human cost of this situation within the US, or that it's an unfair situation that because the political system isn't actually working in the interests of most people in the US, the country is being taken advantage of in this manner.
