Aw yes, love it! Thanks for making fun stuff. Will try it out.

I'm a bit shocked by how people are equating recreating from copyright with recreating from copyleft. It's not the same thing... copyleft code is out in the open on purpose, with the condition that you share back in kind. People are latching onto the intellectual property angle of this article, but the point is way simpler than that: "The terms of that compact were: if you take this and build on it, you share back under the same terms."

Methylphenidate was a no-go for me too, was emotionally unstable and burnt out at the end of the day. However, this is my second month on atomoxetine and so far, I have only words of praise. There are one or two months to go for full effectiveness but I am satisfied so far. Focus is better, my mind is much more quieter, I've been able to kick some dopamine seeking behaviors and am working on new habits. I really feel positive and ready for change in life -- speaking this as an anxiety ridden person for more than ten years. The only negative is that it slightly increases heart rate, but I think this is supposed to go away too. I'd note that I am on some supplements as well and beforehand I did a simplistic dna check to see my methylation/detox profile (wanted to see why methylphenidate was a no-go).

I didn't buy into the whole metabolic health thing -- I thought a calorie was a calorie. But as a person who couldn't lose weight for years due to insulin resistance, just a single daily dose of metformin enables me to lose weight. I was advised to take either that or a miniscule dose of a GLP-1 agonist.

> >You cannot take a sick day by telling your team, “I have mental issues and need a day off.”

> This hurt me to read on behalf of the OP.

> I'm now 20 years into my career and never once have I come across this attitude. People take sick days all the time for mental health. I feel terribly for this person that they felt like they couldn't but this is far and away the exception rather than the rule.

> Has any company come out against mental health in the past 20 years?

I'd say this is a cultural thing. For example, I have never heard of anyone taking a mental health day off. You just take vacation time and hope you come back normal.

Technically, you can take a sick day and the employer doesn't need a reason but if you work in an office environment, especially a small one, everyone knows everything. People know when you're sick and wonder if you're okay. They care and they ask.

I've been doing it for years. The only con is more dust :)

I think that those "silly" annoying small exercises targeting different muscle groups definitely have a role in later allowing you to perform more complex moves without injury. I hate them, but since my back is a bit deformed since birth I have no choice and I suggest others talk to a physio before breaking their backs, pelvises or whatever. I have seen multiple people messing themselves up because their bodies weren't properly "prepared" for those exercises. I guess what I'm saying is there are no shortcuts. Hard work, time and diligence.
