I've built a product that's been in closed beta for a few weeks, and I'd lvoe to get your thoughts on it. Httpeace is a domain monitoring tool that helps dev teams continuously audit their domains for misconfigurations and security issues, sending email/slack/webhook alerts and providing instructions on how to fix them.
It's an alternative to either treating DNS as "set and forget", or doing manual checks / DIY scripts.
Why? From Microsoft to ServiceNow to my own previous startup, domain issues are common and fly under the radar — website visitors usually spot them before devs do. I'm talking:
- SSL certificate expiry/validity
- Unused subdomains at risk of a takeover
- Email configs (DKIM/DMARC/SPF/MX...)
- HSTS/CSP
- DNSSEC
- Typosquats
The list goes on... and that's what led me to build Httpeace.
I'd like to invite you to try it out: it's free forever to audit and monitor one domain.
I'll be super grateful for any feedback and hope to help you catch and prevent any problems with your domains!
