I read that all these new AMD CPUs support ECC, but it’s been hard finding verification. Can any one recommended a motherboard that both supports and uses ECC RAM with this new CPU?

ASUS Pro WS X570-Ace seems like the top dog here.

The conclusion doesn't point out ECC-compatible boards, but the comments mention the same Asus.

Anyone hopping to have ECC with Ryzen should really read the reddit thread. Wow, what a mess.

Here is a list of AM4 mainboards that support Ryzen 3000 and support ECC RAM:

There's 107 of them, starting at 43 Euros.

It seems like ECC support is pretty widespread, I know for a fact that my Asus Prime X570-PRO has an option for ECC memory in the bios and it's a midrange board. Might depend on the board manufacturer to enable it. Asus seems to have it in most if not all of their boards.

I am using ECC memory with my 3900X on a Gigabyte Aorus X570 motherboard. Works great.

Anecdata: I have an Asus ACE mainboard and use ECC RAM with it.

Works as advertised.
