We take stored data security to a whole new level! Nobody will ever know what data you are keeping, because your files are not linked to your personal information on our servers. That means total anonymity. All data is encrypted using a 2048-bit key a technology similar to the one used for bank transactions but even better. It all happens on your computer, and even if someone lays hand on your data, they won’t be able to decipher it without a SmartFlash itself. You can use an additional pin-code that is impossible to track if you use a mouse to enter it. Losing your Flashsafe is like losing your bank card: the device is blocked while you get a new one and continue to use it. A "trusted computer" function lets you use your SmartFlash only on your devices.
"Their", riiight. Also, either it's not linked to you, xor you can get a replacement: otherwise, to whom are "they" reissuing the replacement? "Yeah, I am onelly, trust me, I only lost my device, I'm not NSA trying to snoop on him, honest."
Entering code by mouse is impossible to track? Let me introduce you to screenshots. Revolutionary, I know.
FlashSafe is a startup listed and verified on innmind.com - international platform for startups and investors. Which is, actually, what I'm linked to.
I submitted this post here, because I find it interesting for the hackers community. FlashSafe founder told me, that he plans to make an open call for hackers community to try to hack his protection to prove it's really safe. I think that is a cool approach. So why not to spread information about the new device I wonder?
OTOH, 1.it's something completely different than the title claims, 2.there's a very suspicious set of mutually impossible features (you can't have strong anonymity AND data recovery), plus "unlimited" storage (surely the device sales will pay for all of it?) and 3. your way of promoting it sounds like an advertisement.
Sounds interesting, but I didn't get how does it differ from other marketplaces? Your pro account costs $100+ what is the unique benefit for the users?
