the last couple days i spent my free time with developing Launchie - a launchpad replacement for MacOS 26 Tahoe.
I already learned a lot in the progress (I am a web dev usually) and also many people wrote me how happy they were, that someone made a replacement for the removed launchpad from MacOS 26.
Features:
- Folders
- Rearranging apps
- Different Sizes (Windowed, Maximized, Fullscreen)
- Different Styles (Glass, Sheet)
- Modifable HotKey (Default is CMD + K)
I hope the MAS Approval comes soon, until then you find the app under launchie.app
Already over 1000+ people have downloaded it from github (link on website) which is nuts if you ask me
My first macOS app.
Or: Speedrun a MacOS App in 24 hours with no experience on Swift + Making the landing page and everything.
I rebuilt the "old" launchpad from macos for MacOS Tahoe 26 with some personal touch.
What's working
- CMD + Shift + Space to Open/Close
- Setting custom hotkey
- Esc to Close
- Drag and Drop to reorder apps
- Open Apps
- Folders
- Search
I had a goal for 2025, make not a web app and instead create a app for iOS and android. I already had this project working out fine as a web app. But I rewrote it using Expo and React Native to make it a native app.
It's a bedtime story generator. I really enjoy reading to my daughter before going to bed. That's why I came up with that idea.
Hi there,
i built a site for creating headshots generated by ai. It's pretty awesome what's possible nowadays with AI. It's in german only atm, but maybe you can check it out
Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share a project I've been working on as a solo founder. It's called mux10.com, and it was born out of my own frustration with juggling too many AI subscriptions.
I found myself constantly switching between different tools to access various AI capabilities, and I thought, "There's got to be a better way." So, I decided to build it myself!
mux10.com is a unified, multi-modal chat interface that makes interacting with Large Language Models (LLMs) easier, smarter, and more powerful. Here's what I've got at launch:
- Integrated several powerful models: GPT-4o, GPT-4o mini, Claude Sonnet 3.5, and Mistral Large 2
- Free plan users get access to GPT-4o mini (It's still pretty capable for most tasks!)
- Image generation with models like flux schnell and flux dev
I'm planning to expand access to more advanced models as the platform grows, and I'm looking into implementing special-purpose LLMs for targeted applications. The goal is to keep simplifying how we communicate with AI.
If you're on the free plan, you'll have access to GPT-4o mini due to cost constraints, but don't worry – it's still quite robust for most tasks!
I'd love to hear your thoughts, questions, or suggestions. Feel free to drop a comment here or use the contact form on the website.
Also, if you want to stay updated on what's next for mux10.com, you can follow me on Twitter: @nickfthedev
Thanks for checking out my project. I'm really excited about the future of AI interfaces, and I can't wait to share more as I continue building!
Launched SchlauDesk Helpdesk for Shopify merchants on my own. It's an AI-driven tool aimed at revolutionizing customer support by automating responses and centralizing communication. Designed from firsthand experience, it seeks to solve the inefficiencies in handling customer inquiries. Open to feedback and discussion. [Check it out](https://apps.shopify.com/schlaudesk-helpdesk).
