Quantum computing only solves a few specific problems. Like showing every possible outcome. For instance print(x), and your goal is to get a through z.

But if the problem is linear, like 2+2, it doesn't help to have quantum computing.


Read/education

I think I could hack. I've been hacked, I've read about how people hack, and I have a pretty good understanding how attempts are made. Basically you learn the exploits that historically happen.

Worst case if you need to do something, you can Phish.


They are probably talking about freelance. Not mentioned was that the top 0.1% are ones that make 200 to 500k.

Also no mention of starting a testing business? No mention of cyber security jobs?


There was a mention, testing businesses and cybersecurity jobs all pay less than software engineering businesses or jobs.


I have technical issues with Firefox, it might be my computer, but after spending an hour trying to solve them, I gave up.

Anyway that's why I'm here.


What kinds of technical issues were you experiencing with Firefox? Please feel free to elaborate. I have significant experience with the browser and there are very few user issues I've not been able to resolve.


Pages take abnormally long to load.

I have plenty of space on my SSD. Lots of free ram. I uninstalled and reinstalled.


Moderation is extremely difficult. I can't say HN is done well because there is a heavy subjective hand.

The only thing good are the vast majority of users here have good intention. If only HN had multiple boards with various mods.
