Hetzner is awesome, but keep in mind, that it has a very limited set of cloud services and lacking many things like managed Kubernetes, advanced networking, certificates and secrets management etc, you will need to build this by yourself. You can build your own K8s cluster and deploy some containerised services, it would be a great exercise.

Heyho – yes, I'll assemble it where I live... in Germany. However, most of the electronic components will come from other countries.

The product won't work without a smartphone.


We desperately need from Kagi: 1. Change jurisdiction to Switzerland 2. Build (or at least partner with someone) to build an independent index 3. Extend services to paid e-mail, collaboration and other tools of a whole ecosystem. I'm ready to pay!
