I also wear a watch in the form of the Nike Fuelband. It sleeps when I'm not actively looking at it, so the battery lasts several days. The clasp is also a USB connector, so it just plugs into my laptop when the battery gets low. 30 minutes later and im good for another few days.

I also frequently get complements on it because it looks like a sleek wristband until the LEDs light up.

I would love to see more wearable accessories go this route and conserve power until I actively look at or wake up the device.

If someone added streaming music or mp3 functionality that could pipe music to a Bluetooth headset, that would be something I would definitely pay money for.

Actually, I don't think all of the courses are available through OCW. I recently tried to find all the course for the Computer Science bachelor's degree plan and found all but one: http://www.gliffy.com/publish/3280755/

On top of this, many of the course are just lecture notes. My experience has been that the lecture notes aren't much better than a good e-book.

I'm really excited for the OCW Scholar program (http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/ocw-scholar/) to expand more, as they offer screencasts, problem sets, and the rest of a fully automated learning package.

The original videos were the first screencast series I ever finished. Being fairly new to server-side development, I often get distracted around the 4th or 5th videos in these learning series. Yours were captivating to me because I was actually building an application or learning a development process every step of the way. Sometimes tutorials wander too far off into the theory mid-way and I start to lose focus.

It started to be hard for me to keep up around the middle of chapter 6 when authentication is introduced, but with the new built-in authentication now, I imagine I'll have a better time keeping up this go around.

I can't wait for you finish!

I like Open Congress. In about 2 minutes, I was able to find out more about the SOPA bill ( http://www.opencongress.org/bill/112-h3261/show). Fun fact: you can send a letter to your congressperson straight from the page!

What no ICQ early adopter cred? In all seriousness, I'm surprised at some of the people that are ahead of me on my list. I have a friend that is in the 5 digit range for Twitter IDs.....

I actually wanted to include ICQ! I had an early ID there, although can't find it anymore. Stopped signing in, was just full of SPAM...

My ICQ account was hijacked years ago by a Russian. Whoever you are, 996541, I'm going to find you.
