Does this mean we don’t need to use certbot?

If you are using Nginx, then likely yes.

Currently it supports only HTTP-01 challenges (no wildcards, must be reachable).

What about with e.g. internal ACME endpoints like https://developer.hashicorp.com/vault/tutorials/pki/pki-acme...

I was genuinely thinking about buying a Volvo car today. This blog changed my mind now.

It seem they are the exact opposite of what I thought.

I loved our XC90 (non electric) but one day rainwater began pouring in through the windsheild behind the rear-view mirror. It quickly got into the electrical system and nothing worked reliably after that. Volvo absolutely refused to fix it, or acknowledge that there was a problem, despite hundreds of posts pointing out similar window leaks. Was very disappointing.

This is why it is of crucial importance for companies to take things like this seriously. A customer complaint can quickly become a crisis and lead do serious damage to the brand.

Anyone with any training in crisis management would immediately refund the purchase price, apologize and offer a discount on a replacement.

The negative publicity of this post alone has cost the company millions in customer goodwill.

Laravel. My previous employer was using it for casino/sportsbook websites and they were able to scale so much with Laravel micro services.

(They had hundreds of millions of profit)

I would hope so considering they’re literally a casino…

We also evaluated D1 and have been utterly disappointed by the performance. It was unacceptable for us (as for any serious production app).

I was actually very impressed how slow and bad it is.

I couldn’t see pseudo selector (like :hover) support in the docs.

Another new library (I haven’t used yet) that supports pseudo selectors is called CSS Hooks: https://css-hooks.com/

There is no way anyone in this world will know these machines by heart.

It has thousand components, evolving constantly and has the most complicated technology in the earth.

Having met the guy...he is pretty close to knowing all the bits at a pretty deep level.

That is part of the heart of asml, people are expected to know things at a very deep level.

Multiple knowledgeable senior engineers at ASML have told me how impressively well Van den Brink understands how the damn thing works.

Given how unforgiving the average engineer is when someone in upper management doesn’t understand something (cue PHB jokes), I’m inclined to believe them.

This was unexpected.

Idk it’s been one of the top speculations since the beginning of this drama.

Well deserved.
