yeah it could be :) . But the content there is discussions not podcasts.

hi guys

Every story/comment is considered an 'item', which you can 'pin' or 'close'. 'Pin' items if you are interested in following the replies to it. 'Close' items, if don't want to follow that thread of conversation.

Yes, that would ideal way to use twitter. But most of the people don't use twitter for that. For example, Mashable has 4.3M followers, what they do is tweet every 15 minutes or so with their links, sharing a link multiple times. And for these 4.3M followers those, the kind of tweets you mentioned will get buried among these tweets.

But its very difficult to separate the "less useful" tweets. For example @pmarca shares a lot of links always accompanied by some comment. But a lot of people share just the title and the link and can be considered less useful in a sense that it should be displayed in a list like in Delta.

Still that's a great idea, and increase the utility of twitter for a lot of users. I never thought of that. Thanks.

Once you sign in with your twitter account, Delta goes through your home timeline to find the stories that were shared by your friends recently. Then a Reddit/HN like list of stories is created, where each tweet containing the story is considered an upvote.

Will this be helpful for news consumption? Any other suggestions to make it better?

adding: There are a lot of other click to call services, but Lumelet has video/voice chat ( using webRTC ) and is free and simple to set up. Catering to individuals and startups rather than enterprises.

reminds me of the light hearted fights between theoretical physicists

Switching between article and comments and display of nested comments are great.

but coding is one of the best ways to introduce people to computer science

i like the the wallet and the fact that its clasp doubles as a usb plug. but moving from one battery to two batteries, creates all kinds of problems.

lets them work on stuff that excites them.

if that is not possible, then hire folks who are excited.

if not possible, pay them more (money, benefits, office recreation etc.. ).

if that doesn't work, then remove 'voluntarily' from the question

Or at least let them work using new and exciting technologies which they might want to learn (if suitable for the project). But still, I think more money will work better.
