nowadays i'd just use core.spec/malli/other honestly (for what i use clojure for).

i find core.spec did wonders for that problem.
also, i have a tendency to write a lot of in-code documentation, whichever language i use. so it probably helps too.
this would lead to a pointless conversation, if it were to ever happen.
this whole thing and recent change goes contrary to what i thought they were about.
i'm done with them at this point.
the migration will be painful...
people in power need to run many, many experiments in parallel, and propagate what works. it's already too late so they should start yesterday...
pick a few hundred ideas, hire some good statisticians. run experiments for 2-3-4 years, then spread the good stuff and test a new batch of ideas.
i don't think that will happen though. so we got to prepare for the crash as best as we can.
the economy being not so good is certainly a part of the problem, but if we're going to over-focus on that we are pretty much doomed.
i live in tokyo as a senior engineer with a ~75-80k usd salary. it's comfortable.
it's safe and practical. i can walk to the park with my daughter in less than 5 minutes. and her school is 15mn by bike.
supermarket and restaurants etc. are all at walking distance.
flying is indeed expensive but i don't fly much nor do i want to, so i don't care
i don't need nannies and tutors, i can teach her most of the stuff by myself (i mean i was good at that when i was a kid, + i was a tutor in univ...)
