Thank you! Glad to hear you're a fan of the syntax; the idea is that it be equally accessible to an experienced dev looking to save time and to a novice tackling their first-ever AI task.

If you have any further feedback later, I'll be more than grateful for it!

Not quite yet—that's something we have on the roadmap, but at present vector databases can only really be searched through by combining a text-embedder module and a vector-db module (detail for both below). Any file processed through such a pipeline will be semantically searchable.

Text embedder: https://krixik-docs.readthedocs.io/latest/modules/ai_modules...

Vector DB: https://krixik-docs.readthedocs.io/latest/modules/database_m...

Please continue submitting suggestions and requests; we'll take them very much into account as evolving our roadmap.

That's the idea! Give it a whirl and let me know how it goes, all feedback is more than welcome.

More than the early 2000s, it reminds me of early 90s Apple UIs.

For increased brutalism, I'd suggest another color theme, though... needs moar gray.

Neat and quick—what are the next couple of features you'd incorporate?

Thanks! Probably more languages, and barcode/QR code detection. I'm currently collecting feedback, would love to hear your suggestions -> https://insigh.to/b/textcapture

I read "Bill Watterson" instead of "Bill Atkinson", and for a brief moment, the story in my head was pretty wild.

I misread two names. Bill Waterson doxxing Scott Adams. Because they're both comic strip authors, I suppose.

But reading TFA and seeing hypercard set me straight.

Is there a way with which you could expand the number of recipes available?

You have a set of ingredients at home (or easily purchaseable)—an evolution of this app could have you tell the app "look, I want recipes that use any of these 45 different ingredients, what recipes have we never tried?" And it has access to some big database of possibilities.
