We will not forget this.

Self-referential training not only pollutes the internet but also undermines trust in technical documents.

I laughed

planet-today.com (the source) is a right wing conspiracy website, that get most international traffic from russia (https://www.semrush.com/website/planet-today.com/overview/). The domain is also registred in Lituania (https://urlscan.io/domain/planet-today.com) like most russian propaganda websites. The website is also posting live data on the Schumann Resonance (https://www.planet-today.com/p/schumann-resonance-today-247-...) and this link is heavily featured on the homepage. This is esoteric pseudoscience heavily used in the qanon context. And on top of these graphs (I sh*t you not) it says: The graph is updated every 15 minutes. Local time is expressed in Tomsk (Russia) Summer Time (TLDV). TLDV = UTC + -- hours. What a weird choice of local time for a US news publication.

I think this might be a static page they are hosting on Akamai?

Is the UKIP still a relevant party in any way?

I’m not sure. While I broadly agree with what SuddsMcDuff wrote, I literally can’t tell any more.

Trouble is, the UK political scene is currently entirely populated by people who lack the competence to realise there is anything wrong with their own strategies. (All of them, including the groups I used to consider ‘my side’).

So, they might be relevant by default.

Not really. They were seen as a single-issue party and as soon as the Brexit referendum happened their raison d'être disintegrated.

They are still going under different leadership, focusing on other typical right-wing issues. Depending on how things go with Brexit they might well come back into the limelight this year.

From the perspective of the website ff tracking protection is the same as an adblock user. I think they are just distinguishing both cases because most ff users don't know that they are using an ad blocker.

Asimov. Pretty much anything he has written.

In my company all developers work on MBPs and none of them says even a positive word on the new generation. To add to the article: Ethernet over USB-C is sluggy at best. We had to change two devices over GPU failures (never happened before). I found myself playing around with the Surface Book and it felt like cheating on my wife ... I bought about 100 MacBook Pros for me and my company and it feels like this is the last generation in use. I still can remember the joy I felt when I opened my first MBP and I think I will not forget the disappointment from the current generation.

surface book is bae

One might migrate some super important instances to bear metal or cloud hardware under full control. If this is an embargo against a bug that could make VMs on the same hardware attackable this should be public.
