We all know the feeling: you unlock your phone for “just a second” and lose 20 minutes (or even more!). Giraffocus interrupts that cycle with a gentle mindful pause, so you can catch yourself and save hours each week.

I built Giraffocus for myself, to stop doomscrolling. The mindful pause gives you a few seconds to reconsider whether you really want to open the app.

I’d be super happy if you tried the app. Any feedback is more than welcome!

What if that assumption is not true? I have an opposite problem - I forget my iPhone somewhere in the house for 2-3 days, and then have hard time to find it and convince myself that I still need a smartphone.

Would it be possible to have paid extensions? I mean, let's say a I got an extension on Google Chrome which I sell with Gumroad and I'd like to integrate it with your web browser as well.

Yes, we're very excited to work with extension developers! But there's 2 important things to consider:

Apple's terms clearly don't allow us building a store within the app (Fortnite vs. Apple) so we're not going to distribute paid extensions directly but it sounds like you use Gumroad and probably a secret link to distribute?

Also, there's some OS enforced limitations on compared to the full WebExtensions spec, but if you share the extension with me, I'm happy to take a look. I'm abhinav@insightbrowser.com if you'd like to reach out directly.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I'm going to add filters soon.

A product based company creates their own products, e.g: Spotify, Sumo Logic, Twitter.

What isn't a product company? Agencies, software houses, e.g: EPAM.

Wouldn't there be clear differences between a service company and a product company then?

SaaS seems to complicate that distinction...
