For sure -- I am not thinking this will change that concept but rather hopefully align both parties in a better way. If you know you'd never want to work in {industry} or for {company}, and hiring folks knew this, they'd waste your and their time less. Conversely, the opposite can hopefully be more valuable than just hoping a role is interesting to a candidate.
