Glad to hear it received a major update. Nethack on Slackware Linux was my childhood and has a special place in me. It taught me how to really use computers. Time to compile the source code again, folks.

Still primitive. But I'd love to drop lazy for this once they implement a differed load.

I love lazy.nvim. It's great no doubt. But recently I felt like the author is taking an aggressive user retention behavior by re-imprementing every useful open-source community plugins out there (like snack.nvim, mini.nvim). That's a kill-zone/copycat strategy. I don't get it.

And then ditching those packages unmaintained (like snacks).

// mini.nvim is a completely different author though and doesn't have to do much with lazy

The mini.nvim maintainer is the one who did a lot of the work for pack I believe:

I believe folkes is just on vacation. Hardly ditched.

Yeah last commit on snacks was only like 6 months ago. Reasonable vacation time for an independently wealthy guy.

I'm a bit bummed too - I switched a few plugins to snacks.nvim and now I have no idea if they are going to be maintained.

Could also be done and not had a reason to update.

There are quite a few bugs and open issues, and open MRs. So done seems unlikely

I think he's pretty well placed to implent good interfaces following his paradigm, noticeably different than some other authors. I like it, so I often think his take is the best.

Snacks picker is now the best picker, for example.

Long time w3m user here. Tried it and I can love it. Very nice.

Is that your design choice not having "Open URL"(Address bar) feature?

The address bar should open by pressing C-l (control + L).

Idea of XML being superior to anything was the plague nearly everyone at the time caught. Evangelists would be the chosen one or so they thought. But they turned out to be a bunch of con men chasing easy fame. Having once been vaccinated with dynamic programming languages and coding-by-convention, who will ever go back there?

Oh... typescript... you...!!!

This site has no link to the official "Motiv" bland website, and looks like being built by "Wix.com Website Builder". While the idea is attractive, I would call this a fake bs.

Just got hit by this. Everybody in my team was using HipChat as a primary online communication tool. So, was nice to see nobody in the room for a while.

Fine, but I wonder why they didn't reset the API tokens while resetting password immediately. Are they managed by the different servers/services?

Wanted to try out a bit. But approving a permission request for "read/write all the Github PRIVATE repository" and "read/WRITE all the my info." is alarmingly risky...

And this site itself is not even open-sourced? hmmm.

I admit that sucks a bit, but unfortunately the GitHub API doesn't offer per-repository scopes. I'll have to think of a better way, maybe Staticman could be a bot that you give access to on a specific repo.

Or just send pull requests, if a user doesn't want to grant push access (this can also be used as comment moderation)

If you want to make this project a success, consider to release it under an open source license!
