Creem is just a MoR layer on top of Stripe. Not really an EU alternative.

Is it? I couldn't find info about it.

ha good luck. they already aggressively scan and use public wi-fi networks and have everything shipped on a chonky SoC

they already aggressively scan and use public wi-fi networks

This is commonly repeated and but as far as I can tell nobody has actually demonstrated it.

there hasn't been any open wifi networks around me in over a decade and i live in a decently populated area. that's not a thing any more unless you're at a place of business and even then it's rare.

it's kinda bleak realizing I've been running the same cursed workflow for way too long. brb gonna disable that autocomplete

Porkbun also uses Cloudflare for their NS servers.

>A warning to auth engineers: if an account is using a Gmail address, then auth codes from Google Authenticator should not be considered a second factor.

Incredible take. I don't know what's worse here — suggesting gmail address = google authenticator, thinking you can know the source of "auth codes", or the fact this is coming from an auth engineer. I'm switching to handwritten HMACs on paper napkins today.

Nowadays it seems more of a coping mechanism for fading relevance rather than respecting the actual competence.

IMO, PM2.5 sensors are essential nowadays. What's the point of a device without one? Especially for $229. I can get a chinese thingy like qingping for ~$115 with PM2.5 and other stuff.

They will happily oblige and put your review down if the host asks nicely. Happened to me, happened to my friends. Also they don’t care a bit about fake obvious reviews. Not like “not actively monitoring”, like telling you idk if you care to report it.

>DNS is fundamentally broken

Is it? Seems to be working as intended. Don't like a specific resolver? Cool, switch to another. Or run your own.

The problem is entities like Cloudflare trying to centralize the internet, DNS included, not the protocol itself.

>ultimate

Who knows? Maybe when and if that happens, civilizations will be advanced enough to try to reverse this: manipulating the local Higgs field, pocket universes, and counter-decay waves

The problem is that false vacuum decay spreads at the speed of light, leaving no time for preparation, and the laws of physics would be completely altered without warning. Perhaps future civilizations could resist it, but with our current understanding, it’s a doomsday in a blink of an eye
