I have a similar story with The Guardian. After I subscribed, I got bombarded with emails soliciting for more money. Immediately cancelled my subscription.

What’s worse is that this nonsense appears everywhere now. When I started donating blood at a blood bank, I got hammered by SMS and email seeking my attention for all sorts and begging me for more donations, sucking even more blood out of me. This is such a turn off that I stopped donating altogether.

I've owned the SII, Note 4 (and a few Pixels in between) and now the S24. The S24 is by far the worst Android phone I've used. Massive battery drain on stand-by, even with AOD off. It has about half the battery live of a Pixel 5. Many accidental touches when in your pocket which will screw up all sorts of settings. Annoying push for their AI. Sub-par fingerprint sensor. The only reason I bought this phone was because it is one of the last compact phones around.

Funny that. Working with Creo on a day-to-day basis makes me want to quit my job.

Surely you haven’t tried all Android phones out there, so why make such a generalizing comment? I’m daily driving a mediocre Pixel 4a and have no such issues. I also tried an iPhone 11 Pro alongside my Pixel for a few months. What an unwieldy brick that was and they’re only getting heavier. Notifications handling and navigating the settings suck big time, and overall it felt very restricting to use.
