Here in Norway, we were refused a c-section as my wife being fed up after 26 hours wasn't a valid reason for having one.

It also cost $0 total, with a baby delivered and 5 days in the 'new-parents-hotel' at the hospital, which included monitoring, help and instruction, and vaccines.

That's great. I should also clarify that because we have health insurance, our out-of-pocket expense was less than $200.

Two weeks ago a doctor lost his license here in Norway due to long term, high dosage antibiotic usage: http://translate.google.no/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&pre...

His case is/was extreme: He was prescribing extreme high doses for extended periods of time to a small number of patients because some believe it works against extreme cases of Lyme disease, despite total lack of evidence.

It's rather shocking that he's been allowed to keep practicing as long as he has.

I currently have a native OSX version og glTail in review by Apple, which is quite a bit faster and easier to install than the Ruby version. I also have an updated IOS version in the queue which doesn't crash quite as often.

An IOS version? How cool! I'll check it out, thanks for the heads up.

Some years ago, I was showing of my Nexus One to my sister, and she was so impressed with the voice to text that she exclaimed "Wow! Can Google really do that?". The resulting text from Google was "Yes we can. Google is amazing. :-)"

Never been able to reproduce it though.

It'd be great if when I double-check a domains availability and it comes back negative, it turns red and is removed from future searches.

Hey,

I added an option to double check its availability on the registration dialog.

I've read two books so far on the ad-free version of this Kindle, and I've seen the degraded quality when I study the page quality, but never while actually reading.

Heh, this is pretty much exactly what I've been toying with in my spare time lately at http://illustrend.com - only with Erlang instead of Scala.

http://illustrend.com - Self hosted, real-time Erlang/GWT metrics system. Uses Munin plugins, log files, HTTP GET, or a TCP socket to get the metrics into the system. Drag and drop chart and trend-list building to get the data back out.
