postgres message protocol is much complex than redis. i think it's the bottleneck for such difference.

consider the read/write ratio. most of time s3 service are serving memory buffer. and memory is quite a lot faster than disk.

DOH is a protection for your privacy from ISP. Actually you can set multi DOH server with load balance to avoid your dns info concentrately collected by one dns provider.

When I coding, most of time was used to search docs over internet. My first language is not english, search over hundrud of pages is quiet slow.

AI help me a lot, you don't need search, just ask AI, and it provide the answer directly. After using AI, I have more time used on coding, more fun.

I am mostly pretty underwhelmed with LLMs' code, but this is a use-case that makes perfect sense to me, and seems like a net-positive: using them as a reference manual/ translator/ training aid.

I just wish I saw more people doing this, rather than asking them to 'draw 80% of the owl'.
