I'm in the inner sunset district near UCSF. Foggy but cheaper because of the fog. Excellent lite rail public transportation access to anywhere in the city. Mission district is more of an art community. Depends if you want to be near the GG park or pavement.

Is it really that foggy?

only during the summer month July to August.. built in air conditioning. ;-D

http://www.sonictalk.net/ I just signed up, loved their DSL service.

It's unclear to me the pain you are solving that has value and will pull money from my and thousands of others wallets. Clarify is this the problem???? ... for people who are too proud to directly say things to their family and close friends, or things that would embarrass or humiliate someone if you just told them. Who is the competition that has a revenue stream?

I haven't heard of anything like this; there likely is no competition. Of course this is not necessary to qualify an idea, but I recognize the benefits of having a valid market when developing a product/service.

In this case I'm questioning whether there is one for something foreign and new.

No competition usually mean no market.

Must read : Geoffrey Moore crossing the chasm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossing_the_Chasm

Pick something you dislike about something you consume, and imagine how you would fix it.

I love it! I was part of the "where in the world is Carmen" team. What a fantastic way to motivate kids in science, technology, engineering, and math.

thanks PG really appreciate the inpute.

Truly helpful thank you. I was considering posting images of the GUI. What do you think?

Yep, that would do the trick. It's like porn for some of us. In the end people want to work with other cool people. Hence the Ninja and Rockstar post, when you are not cool, the best way to try to fake it is with some Ninja or Rockstar slang. But in the end posting some shots of the UI and talking about the people / work environment will reflect a more positive light. Then trying to "cool up" your job posting.

...also, google's not going to take this lying down ;)

Why I say that... Open Graph is part of Facebook's strategy to use its 400M-user social network as leverage to take over indexing and navigation of the web, and serve ads with it.

Navigation of the web has been almost entirely Google's territory, because of Search (which also equals 90% of their revenue, from AdWords ads).

Therefore, Google has to counter Open Graph somehow...

Moo's great, quick, easy.
