On this side of the world it's 5.18.19 and yet $19 bucks for the book. Also did not ask for an email, so in essence, I have no words.

It's 5.18.19 on the side I'm on too.... did something happen recently that reduced the price of knowledge?

Was it not showing $0 for you pests? Just want to make sure I'm not hitting some threshold with Gumroad...coming up on 2000 copies requested!

Oh no it worked fine! I think people having issues are finding the link other ways or accidently removing your discount in the URL.

My comment was unfortunately a snarky response to what I thought was a complaint about the full price that I felt was unwarrented at the time.

I've started reading and had already intended to email you my thoughts. Thank you for your work!

Should be called 'Rupert Murdoch's National Geographic Experiment dot com' No desire to see anything to do with him, as there is ALWAYS an agenda there. This is not a political statement, this is fact, he manages to ruin a lot and National Geographic is another one in a long list of them. Sorry.

Since 99% of "conservative" news is manufactured by corporate America, then manipulated, packaged, (Often repackaged.) and presented by Faux News, I'm actually okay with this. It may be supporters of Drumph and company learn the hard way just how almost everything we enjoy as Americans is very much at jeopardy because of Corporate America pushing their agenda and only their agenda through their media outlets. In other words, enjoy your market and real news manipulations. Drumph supporters if successful will earn it!

You couldn't be more wrong. If you actually cared and didn't choose your political view based on what'll look the best in a hashtag under your selfie, you'd quickly find out that ALL liberal politics are sponsored by multinational global corporations. Modern day conservatives are all about small business, small government and financial freedom.

You people have lost the plot, truly.

This is not an overreaction at all. In fact, with the recent Wikipedia search engine debacal, the chances of these so called necessary permissions being unrelated, or coincidence, is nil and none. Jeez people keep up!

Eh. Science can't even make a good sugar substitute...

There's a difference between a chemical analogue and an alternative way of producing the same chemical.

Glucose is still glucose whether it comes from sugar cane, corn, beets, or other sources.

Marijuana is more than just THC.

Yes, it's a variety of ingredients, but while medically-used THC comes from a cannabis plant, it's often been purified so much that it's still only THC.

And coffee is more than just caffeine, but both are popular primarily for their psychoactive properties.

Erythritol.

Lead acetate...

sucralose?

Did no one see "Print the Legend" on Netflix. Pretty well discusses this matter in detail. It also deals with funding a new business and the various pitfalls.

It was discussed in the article but the author didn't find the answer given in the documentary convincing.

It seems "Print the Legend" on Netflix is a good cautionary and relevant tale to watch.
